Bailey-Boushay House started with a vision: to provide exceptional care for people living with AIDS that respects and honors the patient. Today treatments for managing HIV/AIDS have succeeded in sustaining life beyond our imagining, and yet the most human of patient needs remain the same.
Care givers at Bailey-Boushay House understand that getting to wellness means knowing the patient. Our Outpatient Program addresses homelessness, chemical dependency and mental health problems, in addition to HIV, without judgment — laying a foundation of trust so medical treatment can succeed. Hot meals and a safe gathering place for patients combat isolation and seed hope, a crucial shift for people before recovery can begin. Learn about the Outpatient Program.
The Inpatient Program at Bailey-Boushay House operates in a licensed nursing facility like no other. Our staff-to-resident ratio and dedicated volunteers mean residents spend several hours, not minutes, in the company of care givers every day. Residents also form bonds with each other in this unique community, promoting a better quality of life. Staff members give residents the freedom to help shape their own experience, spiritually and emotionally, with the expert medical care that provides support and comfort at end of life.
